# Rasum Help

Rasum is a messenger for iPhone and Android. You can use it to write messages, send photos, files and voice messages, and make voice or video calls – with single people and in groups.

## What is Rasum?

Rasum is a messenger app for the iPhone and for Android phones. New chats are end-to-end encrypted: only you and the people in the chat can read the messages. A chat without encryption is marked as **"Not encrypted"** in the chat info. Your account is always on the Rasum server **rasum.chat**. You cannot choose a different server in the app.

Your username has the form `@name:rasum.chat`. Other people find you by this name.

The app always uses the dark design. It shows its texts in the language of your phone, for example English, German or Russian.

## Common questions
